About

“Between Breath and Light”

My work explores impermanence - the transitions between shadow and light, fullness and void, appearance and disappearance.

Each piece is born from an inner movement, attentive to what transforms, reveals itself, or fades quietly. I combine painting, inks, cyanotypes, indigo, handmade paper, and plant fibers. I’m drawn to materials that react and escape control. Water, light, air, and gravity become partners in creation.

My gesture is not about mastering form but about welcoming it - a trace, a breath, a vibration.

My travels in Japan deeply shaped my way of seeing. I found resonance with aesthetic principles that honor passage, light, and the beauty of the transient. I share that spirit - a simplicity touched by time.

Between presence and erasure, I try to give form to what often slips beyond sight - the fragility of matter, the density of a breath, the memory of light.

I wish these works to be slow breaths amid the noise of the world - quiet spaces where the gaze can rest.

Recognized by Ateliers d'Art de France for my work with paper and plant fibers.
